This trail is located on Complementary Route Nº 5, near the city of Río Grande, in a recreational area that allows you to enjoy a natural environment typical of the north of the island.
The trail is well marked and has informative signs. The care and maintenance is in charge of the Centro de Interpretación de la Reserva Costa Atlántica (CIRCA) of the Municipality of Río Grande.
Hikers can observe numerous species of birds that inhabit this steppe area, such as ducks, herons, geese, plovers, and thrushes.
